Recently, I have had the ambition to be able to cycle, and today, I have accomplished that goal. The reason that I want to be able to cycle is because it is a fun activity to do in your free time, it is a form of exercise, and is a more eco-friendly mode of transportation. Second of all, when I go on holidays, I can get around without having to take a car, taxi or bus!

Here is a video of me cycling in the park today:

I do still need practice and more work on cycling, but I think I have made a pretty big achievement today. From not knowing how to cycle, to being able in cycle short distances! I hope that I will be able to cycle better in the future and master a new skill!

By the way, I ended up falling 3 times today and getting lots of cuts, but I think it was worth it!

Wow Mari, I am proud of you!

You prove to be a risk taker as well.

You only need a bit of practise and you can cycle on the road in Holland.

Great job, Mari!

Was it at East Coast or Pasir Ris? I used to be able to cycle short distances at East Coast during my secondary and JC days...hmm...not sure if I can still do it now?!

You will be able to cycle in Holland this Summer!

Enjoy your new skill :-)

Spectacular Job! That's kind of what happened to me when I first started learning to ride a two wheel bike 4 years ago. Except I did it in The Pasiar Ris Park. Luckily I only fell once and to my relief there were no cuts or brusies. My parents were so proud of me that we all bought ourselves bikes. We cycle around Simei now and again.
