Time passes so quickly doesn't it? Now, it is already the December holidays! Christmas trees have sprung up everywhere in the city along with many other festive decorations, and homes are starting to be decorated for this season and everyone is humming christmas carols both at school and even all around the country! Are you going to celebrate?

Along with this festive season, I also now have a break from the first term of school. I don't know what I am going to be doing during this long time off school, but I am sure I am going to find many fun and interesting things to do!

Looking back at what I have done this term, one thing that was really cool to do was a game called "A Google a Day". It is a exercise to help train your searching skills by giving you a question you have to answer as well as the "par" time that they expect you to take. Once you found the answer, you key it in and see if you got it right!

I am thinking of making one of these games myself, but I think it would take a lot of thinking and research to come up with challenging yet fun questions to answer! In the meantime, here is one of the questions I have come up with.

"What is the scientific name of the species of pufferfish that is commonly called the "Sugar Toad" in the Chesapeake Bay region?"
How long did it take you to solve it? To see the answer, click "Read More".
Sphoeroides maculatus
